Job Description:
- Process support on the improvement, upgrading & troubleshooting of processes and machines. The process includes cold forming of steel and aluminum parts, heat treatment of aluminium & steel parts, anodizing, zinc phosphating, spray painting, CNC machining, etc.
- Support the production controllers on the scheduling of production.
- Prepare & review new process sheets, in addition to maintenance & updating of existing process sheets.
Reviewing & approving MITE for calibration of gauges, measuring instruments, machines, etc.
- Establish processes for new production parts together with the other engineers.
- Plan and coordinate tests to establish new sources of materials such as steel, aluminium, chemicals, etc.
- Design support for the R&D team on the development of new parts for ease of manufacture.
- Design & draft of cold forming tooling & gauges.
- Provide technical support for supplied parts, fabricated tooling, etc.
- Oversee and coordinate the procurement of new machines, new automation and new equipment together with the procurement department.
- Up keeping and updating of the current plant layout drawings and planning of new plant layout.
- Ad Hoc duties assigned by the superior.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in any engineering feilds
- Experience in tooling design, gauge design, jigs & fixtures design, process engineering &/ or automation in a manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge in GD&T & proficiency in AutoCAD & Solidworks will be an advantage.
- Experience with Kaizen methodology will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel & Words preferred.
- Experience in conducting trouble shooting & problem analysis of manufacturing process will be an advantage,
- Willingness to travel and work overseas on short term basis, will be preferred.
