Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Consultant and Trainer (Part Time)

As EAP Counsellor/Consultant/Trainer, your role is to develop a Specialist Diplomat Course on EAP and be the trainer for the course. At the same time, you will be engaged as a EAP counsellor to work with employees from partner companies in transitioning back into the workplace to provide support to better balance work, health, and life challenges. The ideal candidate must possess expertise in providing corporate leaders and managers with coaching and consultative support, delivering coaching and training to employees, and providing crisis support when needed.

Responsibilities:

· To craft out course outline, lesson plan and lesson materials for the training of the EAP.

· To deliver the developed EAP course as an EAP trainer

· Delivers short-term counselling services in a responsive, efficient, ethical, and professional manner.

· Provides an integrated EAP service within the Client Organisation consisting of intake and assessment, support, triage, referral, clinical case management and crisis management.

· Conducts Critical Incident support.

· Provides consultative support to managers.

· Facilitates trainings within scope of practice.

· Implements strategic activities for the organization.

Requirements

Qualification/Skills:

· Passionate about helping others clinically, has excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Diligent in time-management, has proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, and has executive coaching experience.

· Master’s degree or diploma in Psychology, Counselling, or related field.

· A minimum of 5 years post-graduate counselling experience.

· Experience in workplace counselling.

· Experience working with trauma and Critical Incidents.

· Training and presentation skills.

· EAP knowledge and experience working with legal/HR teams.

· Ability to speak fluent English and Mandarin
