JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Market and promote sales for existing retail outlets, for the direct consumers.
- Track sales report and order products to meet customer requirements and increase profits.
- Minimize out-of-stock and overstock to ensure fresh merchandise.
- Schedule meat associates, engage in specialized skills training, and delegate work to use talents and abilities to increase profits.
- Execute localized merchandising plans and follow company plans to ensure meat department achieves profits.
- Manage and track inventory records to estimate gross monthly profits as per company guidelines.
- Anticipate and resolve potential problems / issues work with seasonal marketing budget
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory rules and standards of food industry.
- Communicate with departments to design marketing plans to meet meat store’s profits.
- Supervise the planning and development of sales.
- Analyze changes in sales dynamics and use data to adapt strategies as necessary to achieve increased sales volume and margin growth
- Liaise with peers and superiors to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals
- Manage department records on associate performance, discipline and sales plans.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma / Degree qualification is required. Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related industry is preferred
- Preferably experience in B2B/B2C sales, wholesale of livestock, meat, poultry (fresh and frozen) brand consumer products with a preference for the industry
- Meat (protein), fresh / frozen food, seafood sales experience, strongly preferred
- Must have deeper knowledge in food industry.
- Demonstrated sales planning, forecasting and sales execution experience required
- Ability to take unstructured or under-developed accounts to achieve sales volume and margin growth; acts with a sense of urgency and passion, self-directed
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Class 2A/2B/3 driving licence Compulsory. Vehicle cannot drive home.
- Must work on weekends/PH. Strictly off on week day
- Need to go for delivery of meat products if in case of emergency or absence of driver.
- Willing to work in rotating shift.
- Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
