Job Summary:

The Learning and Development (L&D) Manager plans, develops and implements development and training programs for corporate employees. The manager also oversees the designing and developing of WSQ and non-WSQ courseware, managing relationship with client stakeholders and associates, reviewing and updating existing courseware to ensure currency and relevancy to latest industry trends.


Duties/Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage the L&D unit’s revenue and P&L.

· Directs the corporate client needs assessment for training and development to enhance the effectiveness of employee job performance.

· Lead the design and development of Course Proposals, Learner Guide, Lesson Plan, Facilitator Guide, Assessment Plan, Cross-Reference Matrix, PowerPoint Slides and Virtual delivery Guide based on SSG Skills Framework.

· Review, update and manage all training products and its contents.

· Collaborate with content partners, trainers and SMEs on curriculum review and enhancement.

· Conduct TTT for new and revised products to brief internal and external stakeholders.

· Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, understanding their unique challenges, and tailoring training solutions to meet their specific requirements.

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and industry events.

· Collaborate with the consulting and training teams to develop compelling and customized proposals, responding to RFPs, and delivering persuasive presentations to potential clients.

· Lead negotiations with clients to secure contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms while aligning with company objectives and client expectations.

Education and Experience:

· Minimum diploma and above in Management, Training or HR or related disciplines.

· Diploma/Certificate in training and development or organizational development.

· More than 2 years of adult and continuing education training experience.

· Professional certification e.g. ACTA, ACLP, DACE or DDDLP is a plus.
