Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our Finance function. The ideal candidate will oversee Accounting operations, lead the Accounting team, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders, Auditors, and active participation in financial process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Function Oversight:
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller to ensure the smooth running of the Finance function.
- Supervise Accounting operations, including cash flow management, payment reviews, General Ledger postings, and financial reporting schedules.
Supervision and Team Leadership:
- Take on supervisory duties for the Accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of operating results, adhering to the Firm's policies, Singapore Tax regulations, and Financial Reporting Standards.
- Act as the key liaison with Auditors during statutory audits.
Business Partnering:
- Engage in effective Business Partnering with stakeholders in Practice Groups and Functions.
Analysis and Interpretation:
- Interpret regular management and financial reporting, addressing ad-hoc analyses and reporting needs.
Budgeting and Process Improvement:
- Assist in the yearly budget process and lead/facilitate financial process improvement initiatives.
Transition Management:
- Collaborate in the transition of accounting work to Shared Services.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- CA or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, with a focus on compliance and financial reporting.
- Prior experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
- Experience in SAP is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, coupled with outstanding time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively and see projects through to completion.
