Responsibilities
Lab Assistant (6 months/1 year renewable contract)
Location: Buona Vista/One-North
Working days/hours: 3 days, Office Hours
Pay: $1380/mth
Job Scope:
- Conduct independent starch analysis and other laboratory analysis
- Able to execute independently starch analysis in terms of physical and application properties
- This will include jet cooking, handsheet marking and reactivity test
- Conduct starch bench marking test with the guidance from supervisor
- Support day-to-day operations (e.g., upkeep of lab supplies)
- Source quotations, raise PO and make payment with proper book keeping
- Process sample request from technical service
- Support new Product Development and application projects
- Setting up lab apparatus
- Keying of data and conduct appropriate data processing
- Support any other ad-hoc projects and general administrative duties as assigned
Job Requirement:
- Min A level/Diploma in Material Science/Technology
- Prior experience in research and development role is advantageous
