Job Responsibilities
- To ensure that the daily PnL/Inventory is accurately reported to the Front Office & reconciled between PnL tools & management reporting tools.
- Provide insights to PnL swings and variance investigation to Front Office Quant Traders.
- Assist in the month-end closing process to Finance Team.
- Perform Daily trade capture, reconciliation, cash management and adhere to post-trade risk controls parameters.
- Provide essential internal reporting to business stakeholders.
- Assist in trading accounts onboarding and maintenance. To coordinate with exchanges/brokers on daily/monthly BAU issues.
- Participate and lead in streamlining of operational processes, improvement of existing systems and controls, assist in new system development as the business continues to scale.
- Lead and manage MO operations project when required. Partner with our tech developers and cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems.
- Support daily operations to ensure deliverables and internal support are met
- Assist in other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Line Manager
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or similar fields from top universities.
- Preferably with 8-10 years of relevant work experience in the field of Banking, Finance and Trading firms with strong knowledge of key financial data analysis and reporting.
- Five or more years of proven success in operations management.
- Candidates with project/product management skills is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, coordination skills and detail oriented.
- Good understanding of financial instruments and trading strategies.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite or Google Suite softwares. Technical knowledge in Python, VBA and JIRA is a plus.
- A team player, self-starter and have a sense of responsibility.
- Strong capability to multi-task, critical problem-solving skills, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and with a positive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin to communicate with business stakeholders
- Prior knowledge and interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies would be beneficial.
