Job Responsibilities
- Provide support to Project & Safety team on the environmental control / enforcement in relation to environmental / health being impact.
- Responsible for Environmental Management System and Environmental Impact Aspect assessment of the worksite / workplace.
- Conduct site environmental inspection and ensure effective implementation and continual improvement on all environmental matters.
- Advisory and assistance to the occupier / client / managers or other person in charge of the worksite / workplace on environmental health problems and recommend remedies to establish a healthy working environment.
- Oversee the provision, installation & maintenance of noise control procedures (e.g. Noise Meter, Noise Barriers etc) at site vicinity and monitoring of construction works noise to ensure it does not exceed the permissible noise levels throughout various stages of construction phases
- In-Charge to liaise sub-contractors and service providers of the project such as vector control, environmental impact assessment from its work activities etc.
- Liaising with National Environment Agency & Public Utilities Board (PUB) on environmental issues and other statutory requirements of compliance by sites
- Maintainance on codes of practice & environmental literature and circulates information to each level of employees
- Controller & Tracker of Project Consumption & wastages such as Concrete, Rebars and other Construction Waste.
- Regular Rectification and enforcement of environmental lapses in the project and rectification works
Job Requirements
- Min 3 years’ relevant experience & in the Construction Industry
- Must possess Environmental Control Officer Certificate and registered with National Environmental Agency (NEA)
- Must be Registered Earth Control Measure Officer (ECMO)
- Commitment to Night Duties
