Job Objectives
This role is to : -
l Be the Tech lead / senior technical analyst to drive L3 support for a new application.
l Responsible for aspects of production readiness for new systems, engagement with stakeholders and ensure strict process monitoring and controls.
l Managing, delivering and supporting batch run and client facing application
l Working with vendors and prioritize readiness and fixes to production
l Drive quality and productivity outcomes, ensure timeliness in task monitoring and completion
l Manage overall production stability of the applications; focus on pro-active monitoring and issues resolution.
Key Responsibilities
l Be the Tech lead / senior developer to drive L3 support for a new application.
l Knowledge of 3 Tier transaction banking applications, experience manage complex production support for Java and Oracle based systems.
l Good understanding of Quality and DevOPS processes, demonstrated experience in tools and hands-on implementation of these processes in Development.
l Good expertise in tools – Confluence, JENKIS, BIT-Bucket and ALDON for change mgmt.
l Experience working with vendors and prioritize readiness and fixes to production
l Responsible for aspects of production readiness for new systems, engagement with stakeholders and ensure strict process monitoring and controls.
l Focus on right process and change management for production implementation needs
l Hands on need to setup jobs for file transfer and monitoring – ensure hands on work with CONTROL-M, Connect Direct scripts and file transfer verification
l Monitor and manage risks /issues related to system production implementation
l Drive quality and productivity outcomes, ensure timeliness in task monitoring and completion
l Manage overall production stability of the applications, focus on pro-active monitoring and issues resolution.
l Involve and drive upgrade, enhance and maintain systems
Key Requirements
l Prior IT experience implementing large scale, highly available applications or other large program implementation.
l Experience of banking projects implementation particularly in Open systems in Transaction banking ; knowledge of Trade and Supplier Financing domain desired
l 10 years of working experience as Technical Analyst and production support preferably in trade finance in the banking domain.
l Solid foundation in service-oriented technologies to be able to understand service inter dependencies and drive towards technical solutions for multi-tiered systems
l Detail oriented, yet able to look at a wide array of choices & identify what truly matters
l Ability to work independently and excellent problem solving skills is a must
l Proven results-oriented person with a focus on delivery
l Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units
l Coding experience and upto date understanding in technologies like JAVA/J2EE, JUnit, XML, RHEL, Oracle, SFTP, Unix, Maven, BitBucket, Jenkins, IBM HTTP / WAS / MQ / CD, Oracle PL/SQL, Unix scripting, Control-M and good knowledge in SWIFT and XML message formats.
l Experience in managing, delivering and supporting file, batch. Knowledge and experience on encryption methods used in the industry.
