The Assistant Manager, ANIPLUS Café is responsible for day-to-day operations of the F&B and merchandise outlet located at the Esplanade. This role involves managing crew members, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining a high standard of product quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
Merchandising Operations
- To assist in creating attractive merchandise displays and layouts to enhance product visibility.
- To ensure shelve space is being monitored diligently.
- To manage stocks inventory through proper segregation of shelve space, and stock for display in an organized manner.
- To uphold customer service standards and to implement quality operation procedures.
- To perform regular updates and communications among stake holders on merchandise related issues.
F&B Operations
- Assist in front-of- house daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor F&B inventory levels and place orders for F&B products as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the café.
Staff Management
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising F&B and merchandise crew members.
- Create work schedules, assign duties, and monitor crew members’ performance.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to crew members to maintain high levels of motivation and productivity.
Finance & Administrative Tasks
- Oversee equipment and outlet maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory & expenses.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in retail merchandising, and F&B Café a plus.
- Diploma/Certificate holder in Food & Beverage Services Management, Hospitality management or equivalent preferred.
- Cafe management knowledge and skills, Integrity, Exceptional Time management, Professionalism, Entrepreneurial and Innovative.
- Keen interest in Anime and Japanese pop culture an additional advantage.
