Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide updates on Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) regulations pertaining to the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act
- Implement, execute and monitor the WSH management system
- Implement Risk Management
- Investigate, analyze and determine cause of any incident, accident or dangerous occurrence during work process and recommend means of preventing recurrence
- Submit accident/incident report to Company timely
- Ensure proper upkeep of documents relevant to WSH
- Monitor OHS control measures by conducting regular audits and on-site inspections
- Liaise with consultants and enforcement agencies on WSH issues
- Perform duties of WSH Officer when required
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
​Requirements:
- At least a Professional Certificate/NITEC in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent
- Advanced Certificate in WSH by accredited training centre
- Knowledgeable in law and regulations of WSH Act and Environment
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
- Good team player with good communication and multi-tasking skills
- MS Office skills
