The Company
The association was established in 1993 to promote the use of franchising, licensing and branding as a growth strategy for Singapore enterprises. Through our partnership with Singapore government agencies and international franchise and license bodies (i.e. FLA is a member of the World Franchise Council and Asia Pacific Franchise Confederation), FLA (Singapore) supports our members’ internationalisation plans. With a 130-company strong membership base and growing, representing more than 250 exciting brands, FLA (Singapore) is led and managed by a dedicated team of advisors, committee members and secretariat to bring the franchising and licensing dreams and ambitions of Singapore companies into reality.

Responsibilities include:
Marketing
- To give brief, shortlist and manage selected vendors.
- In charge of managing FLA social media platforms & ensuring regular engagement
- In charge of content for all social media postings (including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant)
- Conceptualise & design marketing/communication collaterals (i.e. emailers, social media posts, video clips, brochures, newsletters, etc)
- In charge of content building for company’s website
- Familiar with editorial, paid advertising, PR, SEM & SEO
- To research & propose additional outreach channels to boost FLA’s branding and activities uptake
Membership:
- Incharge of upkeeping membership database; updating all datas (contacts, payment, engagement records, feature page on website, etc)
- Incharge of suggesting & implementing membership promotions; incharge of onboarding new members
- Incharge of membership engagements/account management (supported by fellow secretariats) and promoting FLA activities to members (under your account and via mass marketing channels)
- Support colleague on TAC/societies partnerships (i.e. co-organise franchise related activities/webinars)
- Incharge of organising quarterly members' networking event (with consideration to engage Service Providers members as sponsors where possible)
- Incharge of weekly members' feature business opportunity eDM
Other functions/roles
- To intentionally drive advertising and sponsorship via FLA website and events/activities
- General administrations incl invoicing, payment follow-ups
- Support role for other FLA activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity and passionate in association/members’ engagement functions
- At least 5 years experience in marketing
- Exceptional marketing communication, writing (content curation) and interpersonal skills
- Savvy in social media and marketing platforms for events publicity
- Detailed-oriented, independent & proactive team player
- Good people skills
