Roles & Responsibilities
Accounting, Finance, and Tax
- Keep books and liaise with overseas headquarters on accounting, finance and tax matters
- Report accounting, finance and tax matters to management
- Handle full set of accounts and all aspects of financial accounting matters including monthly, quarterly and annual closing
- Manage quarterly and annual consolidated group package
- Liaise with head office to cope with accounting related matters and prepare/submit required documents
- Liaise with auditor to issue reviewed/audited financial statement and proceed the AGM with necessarily required document including Annual Return form and XBRL
- Manage financial operations including budgeting, accounting, financial planning, cash flow analysis, and tax compliance
- File withholding tax/GST/Corporate Income tax returns
- Prepare and support filing income tax of employees both in Singapore and in Korea
- Liaise with banks to submit necessary documents
- Handle invoices in/out and prepare payments
Administration Suuport
- General administrative support to the Company’s other employee
Job Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) or more years' experience in related area such as accounting, finance, tax etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline such as Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, etc.
- Professional working proficiency in English and Korean
- Singaporean or PR
- Certificate in related area a plus
Disqualification
- A person who prepared false documents, made false statements, or forged information during the employment process
- A person who was charged with a major crime (e.g., murder, robbery, rape, arson, possession or sale of drugs) and sentenced to at least one year imprisonment
- A person falling under Article 5 of the HR Regulations of Korea Gas Corporation

HR Regulations of Korea Gas Corporation
Article 5 (Causes for Disqualification) Persons who fall under any of the following subparagraphs may not be hired as employees.
- A person under adult guardianship or a person under limited guardianship
- A person who has not been reinstated as a bankrupt
- A person who has been sentenced to imprisonment or heavier punishment and for whom five years have not elapsed since the execution of the sentence was completed or the non-execution was finalized
- A person who has been sentenced to imprisonment or heavier punishment and for whom two years have not elapsed since the date of expiration of the period of probation
- A person who is in the probationary period of imprisonment or heavier punishment
- A person whose qualifications have been disqualified or suspended by a court decision or by law
- A person for whom 5 years from dismissal and 3 years from dismissal have not elapsed from the time of disciplinary action
- Military service evaders under the Military Service Act in Korea
- Persons determined to be unqualified as a result of the recruitment physical examination
- Those who are subject to employment restrictions such as those who have been dismissed for non-compliance under the Act on the Prevention of Corruption and the Establishment and Management of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission
- A person for whom 5 years have not elapsed since the acceptance was revoked, discharged ex officio, or dismissed/dismissed due to being found to have been hired in an illegal way
- A person who has committed a crime prescribed in Article 2 of the Act on Special Cases concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes and has been sentenced to a fine of 1 million won or more and has not passed 3 years since the sentence was finalized
- A person who has been dismissed from, dismissed from, or sentenced to a sentence or medical custody for committing any of the following crimes against a minor, and the punishment or medical custody has been finalized including one person) A. Sexual violence crimes under Article 2 of the Act on Special Cases concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes B. Sexual offenses against children and adolescents under Article 2, subparagraph 2 of the Act on Protection of Children and Juveniles from Sexual Abuse
