Responsibilities:
· Manage the end-to-end deployment and delivery for a Change Release from deployment planning, setup & testing, pre-production readiness to production cutover.
· Understand the solution, scope and deliverables of the release, review the implementation and cutover strategy and work towards executing a successful release.
· Collaborate with Solution Engineer, Application teams and service providers to meet the release objectives and schedule, and address issues that arise in the release through timely escalation
· Prepare and submit the necessary change requests for the deployment for the release, such as the Deployment Tickets , Change Request Portal and Artefacts.
· Deploy Changes into the infrastructure and setup according to the Bank policies/standards and approved process
· Manage risks and escalation encountered during release deployment and drive towards resolution
· Achieve target complete release deployment as per agreed schedule and plans
· Support installation , configuration & maintenance for of the Release UAT Environment.
· Release UAT Systems support.
· Patch Management- Addressing critical patches & deployment them with proper plan.
Skills/Requirment:
· At least 3-5 years of working experience, preferably in banking environments.
· Proven experience in release management or a similar role within the software development industry.
· Strong knowledge of release management best practices, version control systems, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
· Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
· Experience with release automation tools and software development methodologies.
· Candidate with operational experience, preferably in support of critical application systems will have an advantage.
· Good knowledge with Linux/Unix , shell scripting , GIT , Jenkins , Enterprise Jira , Confluence
· Have good skills in working with application teams and service providers in defining deployment plan, cutover/migration strategy and test plan.
