· Represent the Category Quality viewpoint to NUTRITION Category Marketing and R&D, with links to other applicable parts of the business, including Supply, Regulatory etc. Provide communication to relevant management.
· Work with the Category Teams to implement quality strategies based on prevention during development, not inspection during manufacture.
· Participate in teams as appropriate to drive quality improvements.
· Work with Market research, NUTRITION Category Marketing, and R&D to understand Category product strategy and consumer experience.
· Monitor all NUTRITION NPD pipeline and projects to ensure that all quality requirements are met.
· Monitor all Innovation Development Briefs (IDB’s) to ensure that quality requirements are built in and met.
· Specific input at NUTRITION NPD meetings
· Deliver regular innovation project updates to NUTRITION Management
· Ensure adverse consumer trends are identified and investigated, drive the responsible teams to resolve these quickly.
· Undertake Post-launch surveillance for 6 months for all HIGH-RISK projects, with particular emphasis on online reviews and social media
· Active team member, Quality representative on NUTRITION Reckitt Cross Functional Innovation Technical Teams.
· Provide support for cross category projects as required by the business, representing Quality.
· Ensure pilot plant operations comply with GMP’s.
· Drive Supplier issue resolution encountered during innovation phase in conjunction with Global Supplier Quality
· Review and approve change controls and summary reports related to innovation projects and ensure projects are executed following global SOP’s.
Requirements:
· Degree qualified in a Science, Quality or Engineering discipline.
· 3+ years’ experience working in an infant formula or pharmaceutical company.
· 3+ years experience working within a Quality Assurance function or 3+ years working within an R&D, or Regulatory function of a company manufacturing infant formula or pharmaceuticals.
