Job Description:

Business Management

  • Prepare country and category strategy decks and implement the strategies to grow our business
  • Have an understanding of consumers including an ability to assess and prioritize key demographic and categories to generate business growth
  • Oversee management of licensees across all categories ensuring that deal negotiation, relationship building, distribution strategies drive our growth objectives
  • Perform business development activities; from researching, identify and pitch our business to strategic or regional partners in our region to negotiating and execution licensing deals
  • Develop and build long-term mutually beneficial partnerships with licensees
  • Ensure that the company is positioned as the market licensor of choice in Southeast Asia
  • Conducting bi-annual business reviews with key licensees to ensure that all business opportunities are being discussed and explored
  • Ensure regular communication of plans to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Responsible for forecasting and royalty reports of licensees
  • Review sales reports and other performance data to measure productivity and goals achievement
  • Track the activities of assigned territories and regular review with General Manager and prepare reports on the respective markets
  • Guide, assist and manage licensing agents to deliver targets for the region
  • Sharing of strategy decks and align strategies with agents
  • Guide agent teams on gap analysis, best practices, country and category strategies
  • Train, develop, monitor and manage the performance of the agents’ team members
  • Organizing regular business review meetings with licensing agent and key partners on an agreed schedule to monitor and drive business
  • Joint pitch to key prospects and key retailers
  • Maintain good rapport and provide support to agents

Others

  • Relationship management with stakeholders such as agents, licensees and retailers
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, competitors, business opportunities, threats and leverage those to develop the territory(ies) and category(ies)
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to implement marketing strategies for the regional business and to drive our franchise and achieve top-of-mind recall
  • Work closely with the Creative team to approve the production plan and monitor the creative process to ensure products are launched timely and good quality merchandise is developed
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Control all expenses within budgets, assigned Marketing budgets

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Management or Business-related qualification
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in sales and account management, experience in licensing industry will be an added advantage
  • Action-orientated, self-motivated sales professional with demonstrable business acumen
  • Clear, persuasive, verbal and written communication skills including active listening ability
  • Ability to prepare pitch deck and have good presentation skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to balance various responsibilities
  • Ability to adjust priorities and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges
  • Proficient in Mircosoft applications
  • Possess a strong spirit of teamwork
  • May be required to travel within the region
