Job Description:
- Responsible for overseeing the handling, storage and disposal of hazardous or toxic materials.
- Provide a prompt and appropriate technical advice to Sales and Operation Personnel on their waste management enquiry which includes waste handling procedure and costing
- Developing and implementing plans for safe waste disposal activities by compliance with environmental regulations
- Evaluating the potential impact of new technologies on the field of hazardous waste management
- Reviewing emergency response plans and conducting drills to ensure that all staff are prepared for all possible scenarios
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of local ,rules/regulations(NEA) on hazardous materials management.
- Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level certification with min of 4 years of relevant work experience
- Candidate attended WSQ Environmental Course and had experience as part of CERT team members is a plus point as well
- An effective team player with good communication skills
- Other duties as assigned
