Job Responsibilities
The incumbent will:
- Analyse industry macro trends and company financials covering.
- Analyse data concerning stock price, yield, and future trends of investments.
- Produce value-added equity reports for institutional investors.
- Recommend (buy-and-sell actions) on stocks under coverage.
- Contribute to thematic sector reports on Singapore stocks.
- End-to-end modeling including valuation for company and supporting client on research analysis.
- Keep track of key sector news across the globe, including event updates, stock performance etc.
- Market and present investment ideas to institutional investors.
Job Requirements
To thrive and be successful in this role, you must have / be:
- At least 3 years of equity research experience.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills encompassing finance and related areas of financial investment.
- Strong knowledge of valuation techniques - DCF, Relative, SOTP, etc.
- Preferably Accounting major, CFA qualified or studying for CFA charter.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of Bloomberg.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral English).
- Confident, hardworking and a good team player.
- Passion in equity research and an interest in global financial markets.
