Responsibilities:
- Technical and fundamental knowledge of commodity hedging and trading.
- Technical and fundamental knowledge of foreign exchange hedging.
- Audit experience exceeding 6 years.
- Provide guidance to the CEO on the preparation of the annual budget planning and the preparation of forecasts, trends and financial reports.
- Industry experience in ferrous and non ferrous recycling industries
- Ensuring that business controls and finance SOPs on credit collections, purchasing functions
- Ensuring that overall costs including but not limited to Material costs, Selling & Distribution costs, General and Admin costs are competitive in the markets that we serve
- Manage the relationships of external parties of bankers, auditors and tax advisors
- Participate as a strategic partner with senior management team in the development of sound corporate business plans and strategies
- Identify and evaluate growth corridors that support corporate vision.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy, Business Management or equivalent.
- Industry experience in ferrous and non ferrous recycling industries
- Experience in Australian Tax Law
