JD for Business Development Manager
DSA is searching for a Business Development Manager to join our Singapore office to support our growing business in Singapore. Business Development Managers at DSA are responsible for developing and securing a pipeline of new opportunities and establishing an early relationship with the client.
Keeping our focus on growth, we are looking for self-driven individuals who can identify opportunities and are able to position the DSA brand and value to our customers.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Develop a pursuit plan and a pipeline of new clients and client engagements.
- Successfully convert new target accounts, creating the foundation for long-term, value-based relationships. Success is nurturing and the sale of win-win value propositions and nurturing executive relationships for continuing business.
- Ensure the creation and execution of pursuit strategies, and build “win-win” value propositions at the company and at individual levels with clients
- Approach client executives as true business partners versus software delivery partners, expanding DSA engagement to encompass the breadth and depth of our capabilities, including where appropriate, User Experience Design, Agile Application Development, Application Maintenance & Support Services.
- Leverage available tools, events and marketing support to develop pitches, proposals, presentations, etc for target accounts
- Exploit opportunities for networking and relationship building that arise out of sales activities
- Guides and supports delivery teams activities in the process of winning new business and growing existing footprint
- Maintaining strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies, trends and products
- Demonstrate financial stewardship in all interactions and existing relationship management, internally and externally
- Manage consultative and strategic selling to client executives and defend our position and premium through value lens
- Good understanding of the regional nuances, buyer behaviors, market segments, ability to track competitive activity, build plans to effectively counter it
- Developing and executing on key account plans and sales programs
- Nurturing senior client relationships on strategic accounts
- Achieving established revenue targets in partnership with the larger Client Leadership team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing or IT related field
- Technology and consulting acumen with the ability to positively translate into business value
- Strong customer value orientation - you want your clients to succeed with their objectives
- “Hunter” mentality with a proven record of success driving complex sales through a disciplined process.
- Comfortability and experience engaging with C-level stakeholders at the business and technology level, using a consultative selling approach to maximize the customer outcomes
- Ability to drive thought leadership and innovation experience for clients.
- Ability to influence decisions by bringing in relevant industry trends and client stories on innovation and digital disruption.
- Should have proven capability, experience in sales,
- Experience contributing to a clients’ business using a highly consultative and solution-oriented approach.
- Experience in software development project delivery with the ability to understand the momentum of technical projects and the challenges a highly technical team will face in project execution
