Job Description
- Support SIOP process; generating MPS plan of assigned products to meet Demand
- Regular review of Service Spares or Consumables parts' requirement for assigned products. - Perform Trend analysis to determine the best planning strategy to adopt for manufacturing non SIOP parts to ensure product availability.
- Develop Weekly production schedules and coordinate with Production to execute to the production deadlines. Monitor actual output versus the Master Production Plan.
- Maintain finished goods inventory at target levels in ensure high service levels, i.e.
- Plan and minimize exposure to End-of-Life and obsolescence FG & raw material.
- Project quarterly inventory levels on a monthly basis. Achieve desired corporate inventory turn targets.
- Work closely with the Demand / DRP and logistics teams to ensure customer requirements can be met & ensure that shipments are made promptly.
- Adhere to established procedures and ensure execution complies to the Organization’s Quality standards and Regulatory requirements.
- Participate actively in continuous improvement programs and PPI initiatives
- Participate in New Product Introduction projects to ensure flawless execution when the products move into mass production.
- Timely compilation & distribution of Planning reports.
Education
- Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field or Diploma level with min 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Supply Chain Planning and Materials Management - MRP Excellent understanding of MRP planning fundamentals
- Familiar with SAP/R3 PP/MM applications.
- Excel skills
- Planning and Analytical mentality
- Team Player - a good influencer - Must have
- Action orientated, able to get results with intensity, demonstrating confidence, conviction, and collaboration to innovate new strategies and methodologies.
