The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who possess strong leadership, analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of technicians.
Provide direction, guidance, and support to ensure the team's efficiency and effectiveness.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is functioning satisfactorily and safely. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems.
Inspect and maintain air-conditioning/ventilation equipment.
Inspect and maintain plumbing/sanitary systems.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operation. Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize and execute tasks.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address maintenance issues. Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and emergencies.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
Adapt to changing priorities and contribute to the overall efficiency of the engineering team.
Requirements:
- Education and Certification: Possess at least NTC 3, NITEC in Electrical or Mechanical Trade Certificate or relevant qualifications.
- Experience: Have a minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a similar capacity in the Hospitality industry. Demonstrate hands-on experience in maintenance activities.
- Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Work Hours: Able to work on 5 days, 3 rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
