The Singapore-based Associate Vice-President, International leads the internationalisation efforts of JCU.
Responsible for the international student recruitment, conversion, global mobility and partnership functions across Australia and Singapore, the AVP International ensures targets are met and internationalisation outcomes are achieved across the whole university.

Key Accountabilities and Deliverables
The AVP International is accountable for:
- Achieving international student recruitment targets in Australia and Singapore through the development and implementation of growth strategies and performance management plans.
- Increasing student conversion targets year on year through the development and implementation of growth strategies and performance management plans.
- Increasing global mobility targets year on year through the development and implementation of growth strategies and management of international partners.
- Increasing the benefits realised from the development and maintenance of international partnerships resulting in measurable outcomes for the University in terms of pipeline development, conversion and longevity.
- Leading a diverse team to deliver upon their objectives, building a culture of high-performance, teamwork, wellbeing and innovation.
- Representing the university in international education forums and committees as required.
- Contributing to strategic objective setting and delivery as a member of the Marketing, Future Student and Admissions Leadership Team, role modelling defined cultural and values expectations.
Key Requirements for success
- Post-graduate qualifications and experience.
- Proven experience operating at a strategic level in the areas of international partnerships, student recruitment and mobility and compliance with accountability for performance and quality management.
- Extensive management and leadership skills, including demonstrated ability to effectively manage human, financial and physical resources across a large and diverse team.
- Advanced communication skills using analytical and problem-solving abilities to articulate concepts and present complex analysis with clarity and professionalism.
- Strong customer/client focus with demonstrated facilitation, interpersonal and networking skills, a proven ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative and productive partnerships, and to negotiate effectively with a diverse clientele both internal and external to a large organisation.

Employment type: Fulltime position subject to Ministry of Manpower Singapore jurisdiction and a probationary period.
Remuneration and conditions: The position commands an attractive remuneration package and conditions commensurate with the required qualifications and experience.
Associate Vice President International: SGD $253,000 per annum – SGD $410,000 per annum
