1. Reporting directly to the Head Chef
2. Assist Head Chef in planning food requirements and food/labour costs
3. Assist Head Chef on the quality control of the pastries
4. Assist Head Chef on the pastry creation
5. Ensuring adequacy of supplies at the pastry station
6. Provide the staff training when new products are launched
7. Assist to plan food preparation/food production
8. Enforce strict health and hygiene standard: well maintain personal hygiene, food and kitchen
9. Ensure effective communications and collaboration is maintained between the different entities
10. To ensure information are delivered in an effective and concise manner that staff of the company comprehends
11. Assist in the modification and improvement of pastry product to ensure it is relevant to the current needs of the target customer
12. Provide solution to improve and elevate the effectiveness of processes and systems present in the pastry team
13. Execute any other duties assigned by superior
14. Guide and motivate the team to work more efficiently
