Job Description

  • To monitor and handle all credit-related matters for accounts assigned including, but not limited to, borrower’s waiver/amendment requests, on-going reviews and monitoring and manage appropriate grading.
  • To handle certain credit/loan administrative matters and update reporting requirements for portfolio assigned
  • To work with KYC support team and complete KYC reviews
  • To co-work with marketing teams on new and existing transactions, review of compliance and specific conditions in documentation prior to loan signing
  • To handle auditors’ or regulators’ queries and examination on accounts assigned
  • To participate in portfolio sensitivity analyses for the department’s portfolio
  • To perform any other duties assigned by Group Head and/or management

Job Requirements

  • At least a Bachelors' Degree in finance or business related field
  • At least 10 years in credit risk experience within a structured finance or leveraged finance, corporate banking or credit risk environment, particularly for syndicated loans, in a bank or financial institution.
  • Familiar with credit adminstration and KYC functions
  • Good working knowledge of loan and security documentation.
  • Strong financial analysis and credit skills
  • Strong financial modelling and portfolio modelling abilities, including ability to utilise macros. Advance skills in excel required.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to details
  • Ability to disect and assess complex issues and to summarise for efficient reporting – in writing or verbal.
  • Good coordination abilities to manage multiple tasks at the same time, within tight timeframes.
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to guide & train junior staff members
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with confidence to present or speak in front of a team.
  • Team player
