Senior Regional HR Manager, Talent, Development & DEI

POSITION SUMMARY:

Position is responsible for Talent Management, Learning & development (L&D) and Diversity & Inclusion for the Asia Pacific region.

For the Regional Office, direct responsibility for these functions but partner with Country HR to design and deploy initiatives in the Countries


KEY REPOSNSIBILITIES:

Talent Management

  • Partner with Key Stakeholders like Business Leaders and Country HR leaders to advance our Regional Talent Management (TM) Strategyto ensure relevance to current and future business needs and focus our Talent agenda on capabilities building
  • Together with HR COE for data analytics, develop, monitor and analyse Talent Analytics to ensure we are engaging and retaining our talents and supporting their growth and career development in alignment with both their career aspirations and our Business Strategy. Leverage data analytics to supprt businesses decisions around our Talents.
  • Responsible for the end to end TalentManagement and Succession Planning process accross 13 markets in Asia Pacific and partners with Local HR and HR Businesses Partners to trackand monitor our Talents individual development plans to ensure Engagement and Growth.

Learning & Development

  • Design learning and development framework for Asia Pacific region and ensure alignment with company strategies
  • Partner with Key Business Leaders and Country HR leaders to conduct training needs analysis (TNA) to build current and future capabilities.
  • In partnership with HR leaders and People Managers, analyze training needs to develop new programs or modify and improve existing programs and ensure implementation of development plan for all employees in Asia Pacific region.
  • Ensure development plans are structured around 70/30/10 for development effectiveness.
  • Design and deploy development frameworks, programs targeted at various employee groups to ensure appropriate learning and career pathways.
  • Design programs through partnership with external training institutions which include a blended approach to learning such as coaching, classroom training, 1-2-1 sessions, action learning and e-learning
  • Lead facilitator for key internal programs like group orientation program and key in-house people management programs. Partner with sales trainers where appropriate to deploy in-house programs in local language including facilitating Train the Trainer sessions.
  • For external facilitated programs, evaluate instructor performance and effectiveness of training programs and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Management of regional training budget.

Diversity and Inclusion

  • Design and develop a comprehensive diversity and inclusion strategy for Asia Pacific region
  • Evaluate the use of necessary tools, skills and programs to improve the framework for Asia Pacific region to be more culturally relevant and inclusive
  • Partner with HR leaders to deploy appropriate programs and initiatives

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience leading a Talent Management & Learning & OD COE
  • Strong regional and global experience specifically in the Asia Pacific region
  • Knowledge of essential DEI-based approaches and methodologies, and strong understanding of critical trends in DEI
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and implementing business-focused talent, succession planning and leadership development strategies in complex, diverse and regional environments.
  • Agile and relationship-orientated individual with the ability to effectively influence and engage senior leaders, managers, employees, and HR Business Partners.
  • Has delivered solutions at significant scale with a balance between setting strategic direction and the ability to be hands-on and operational when required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects or workstreams
  • Demonstrated ability to review and enhance systems, processes and policies.
  • Demonstrated ability in talent data mining and data analysis
  • Subject matter expertise in learning curriculum design and talent assessment
  • Experience in facilitating key internal workshops and programs
  • Experience engaging in conversations that advance diversity and inclusion principles
  • Excellent external vendor management experience
  • Degree qualifications in relevant field, such as Organization Psychology, Human Resource Development or similar
