Responsibilities:
Plan for production which include releasing of work orders and ensuring on-time delivery of shipments
Work closely with purchasing and warehouse/logistics groups to ensure on-time receipt, delivery of materials and finished goods shipments
Monitor and co-ordinate on material shortages, expediting and ensuring material availability to support production plan
Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
Plan schedules to ensure production line is optimized
Perform material planning based on manufacturing and production requirement and forecasts
Make suggestions for improvement in areas of cost reduction, processes, quality and productivity
Update and review the production and material status, ensure surplus materials and offcuts are utilized
Support and coordinate with production for the prototype samples run slot in
Requirements:
At least a Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing/Production/Supply Chain or equivalent
Min. 2 years’ of production planning experience in manufacturing industry
Good analytical skills and ability to organise work efficiently with minimum supervision
Demonstrate initiatives and ability to multi-task to address priorities and urgency
Good problem-solving skills, resourceful, detailed and ability to work independently
Strong team player and collaboration across functional teams
Proficient in MS Office and ERP system
Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
