Sales Strategy, Senior Analyst

Who we are:
The Strategy and Operations team at Salesforce is a high-performing team that closely partners with senior leadership in driving the business forward. The team is responsible for monitoring business performance and driving operational excellence, developing the GTM strategy, and partnering with sales leaders on the most strategic topics.

Salesforce ASEAN is growing rapidly, and our role is to ensure that this growth is sustainable, predictable and backed by a rigorous data-driven strategy. We are looking for a highly driven and energetic senior analyst who can be a trusted advisor to business leaders and drive the next phase of growth. Projects will be highly data-driven and include growth strategy, business planning, financial planning, market segmentation, pipeline assessment, coverage optimization, and ongoing business performance measurement.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of partnering with senior business leaders, an inquisitive and consultative mindset, experience in working with business intelligence and analytics, and an ability to navigate the organization to get things done. We are looking for a candidate who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, has the passion to enhance business performance, and is comfortable with ambiguity. Some of the things you’ll be doing are:

  • Partnering with business leaders to grow the business under a rigorous data driven approach
  • Driving strategic projects in a cross-functional setting with minimal oversight
  • Owning the key operating priorities for the BU including Sales forecasting, pipeline management, resource allocation etc.
  • Delivering actionable insights and recommendations to enhance the performance of the BU
  • Building and presenting executive presentations, crafting key messages for senior executives
  • Shaping the right go to market model and implementing this for the BU

Who you are:

  • Experience in business operations / planning, management consulting or corporate finance
  • Strong problem solver with demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, diagnose issues, originate new solutions and make recommendations
  • Inquisitive and able to ask the right questions to drive performance and growth
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to translate reviews into easily digestible messages and make succinct executive presentations for senior management
  • Highly analytical and data driven, proficient with tools such as Tableau, Einstein Analytics or similar to build self service dashboards and reporting tools
  • Thrive in fast paced environment and able to deal with ambiguity in a growth environment
