You will play an important role in supporting trade functions by handling a full set of shipping (import and export) documents and managing a spectrum of shipment operations matters.
Responsibilities and Duties
▪ Prepare and handle import and export documents, such as bill of lading, letter of credit, invoices, arrival notice, and certificate of origin.
▪ Track status of and coordinate shipment.
▪ Calculate laytime, demurrage and dispatch claims.
▪ Work closely with the China Office on shipment matters. Ability to converse fluently in Mandarin and read and write Chinese is essential.
▪ Assist to prepare and arrange for signing of sales and purchase contract documents.
▪ Assist to monitor and follow up on payments and receivables.
