Primary Purpose:
Work closely with studio directors and operate coherently between various visual sources from a broadcast vision mixing console. Applying a variety of transition effects, multi-layer visual composition, graphics overlays, backgrounds, creating timelines, functional macros, e-mems and together in a multi-camera production setup to deliver live broadcast or recorded program.

- The role requires multi-tasking skill and precise communication.
- A close knowledge of the program’s running flow and possesses the skill to deal with unforeseen event during a broadcast/recording.
- Processs a level of focus, calmness and making smart decision to assist the producer in delivering a smooth production.
- Vision mixing techniques – Operation of vision mixing consoles including transition methods including cuts, mixes and wipes, frame manipulation, merger of visual sources, graphics and video effects mixing.
- Detailed and multi-task effectively.
- Good sense in color vision, strong visual and aural awareness. Undertake Studio Direction for less complex or recorded items.
- Media Asset Management - To operate with EVS platform to perform simple edit and compile playlist. To ingest and export video footage using media storage.
- Responsible for system setup of all recording machines/servers, character generator graphics systems, slow motion recording/playback systems and calibration of monitoring equipment.
- Work with production team to ensure the flow of the programme visual and qualities meet broadcast standard and requirement.
- Problem solving, Preventive maintenance and knowledge on technology development and practices.
Job Requirements:
- NITEC / Diploma qualification
- 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in production support (vision mixing)
