Roles & Responsibilities
· Invoicing of clients while keeping track of invoices, intercompany billings, receipts, expenses, payments, purchase orders and statements.
· Update and maintenance of Fixed Assets/ Intangible Assets registers schedules and accounting.
· Assist in day-to-day finance operation leading to the month-end & year-end closing and group finance coordination.
· Prepare month-end/year-end closing entries, balance sheet reconciliations, ageing report, variance analysis and generation of financial and management reports.
· Assist in budget preparation, cash flow, operating and capital expenditures.
· Coordinate & facilitate Annual Financial Audit Processand/or tax audits, by providing necessary schedules and documents.
· Preparation of Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis, balance sheet and other supporting schedules for financial statements.
· Bookkeeping in preparation of quarterly GST submissions, annual corporate tax submission; withholding taxes and other taxes as applicable.
· Preparation of Simple Consolidated financial statements as per accounting standards is desirable.
· Assist in finance-related projects including process improvement, system implementation and SOP updates. Assisting the team with any ad hoc finance related projects/initiatives including but not limited to business grants application, corporate secretarial matters etc.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards.
· Review, organize and process employee expense reports.
· Providing ad-hoc and general administrative support as assigned by the Management / head of department.
· Meticulous maintenance of accounting records, data compilation and digitalization.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any equivalent professional accounting qualifications
· 3 years of relevant experience in General Accounting/Financial Reporting, with minimum 1 year of accounting experience in handling full sets of accounts.
· Having Good knowledge in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and IFRS.
· Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel with expertise in working with Google Docs, Dropbox, GoToMeeting, DocuSign etc. Knowledge of Tally Prime will be an added advantage.
· Mature, ability to multi-task and work under stress to meet strict deadlines.
· Must have excellent communication skills, work independently and as a team with minimal supervision.
