Job Description:
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that maintain quality standards
- Plan and direct food preparation
- Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance
- Order supplies and stock inventory management
- Responsible for hot and/or cold kitchen food preparations
- Minimize the wastage of ingredients and other food items
- Manage and maintain the hygiene standards established
- Lead kitchen team in Chef's absence.
Requirements:
- Culinary education and at least 4 years of work experience
- Ability to prepare and cook dishes to high standards of quality
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Adaptability to changes in the kitchen and work environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with other members of the kitchen team
- Able to work on shifts, weekends and Public Holidays
