Job Description:

  • Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that maintain quality standards
  • Plan and direct food preparation
  • Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance
  • Order supplies and stock inventory management
  • Responsible for hot and/or cold kitchen food preparations
  • Minimize the wastage of ingredients and other food items
  • Manage and maintain the hygiene standards established
  • Lead kitchen team in Chef's absence.

Requirements:

  • Culinary education and at least 4 years of work experience
  • Ability to prepare and cook dishes to high standards of quality
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Adaptability to changes in the kitchen and work environment
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with other members of the kitchen team
  • Able to work on shifts, weekends and Public Holidays
