About the Role:
The Infrastructure Engineer (OSP) + End User Computing (Digital Workplace) SAM contributes to the successful design, implementation and maintenance of infrastructure solutions, primarily key digital workplace tools that meet the requirements of the organization. This role performs configuration and daily operational activities (through Vendors) while providing last level technical support on Digital Workplace domain. In addition, the role collaborates with other team members and across teams in developing and defining policies and strategies for integration across IT.
Roles and responsibilities:
Digital Workplace Management
- Continuously modernize the Digital Workplace ecosystem and ensure that every component of its lifecycle is well managed.
- Support the development and execution of the digital workplace program.
- Contribute to the planning, communication, assessments, and implementation of the digital workplace solutions.
- Contribute to the research on the best practices within the digital workplace solutions as well as digital workplace innovation.
Infrastructure Engineering
- Design, install, and develop infrastructure solutions, ensure alignment with the architectural vision, and monitor maintenance of running systems.
- Apply deep domain expertise to ensure that the infrastructure is in a correct and understood state.
- Provide oversight and technical direction to colleagues and external partners in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
- Perform technical checks, analyzing errors and tracking solutions of errors, planning and performing upgrade and installation tests for assembly and validation.
- Contribute to the overall quality of service delivered to internal users and clients and supports the Service Operations Manager in continuing improvement of processes.
Operations and Maintenance
- Plan and support the ongoing maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring minimized down time and all the house-keeping jobs are executed effectively on a daily, weekly and yearly basis.
- Schedule and support backups and restoration of systems, and plan and test disaster recovery for the infrastructure.
- Perform configuration and daily operational activities (through Vendors) while providing last level technical support and knowledge transfer for team members and Vendors on Digital Workplace domain; Including but not limited to the following:
- Unified Endpoint Management & Endpoint Protection Suite.
- Image Creation and Deployment Tools. Working experience with SCCM.
- Windows Client OS Image Standardization& Lifecycle Management.
- Video Conferencing & Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
- Develop methodologies and practices to manage and plan capacity based on projected growth rate to ensure performance remains at acceptable levels.
- Contribute to troubleshooting/problem analysis on IT infrastructure issues.
- Support the applications and product teams in dealing with critical incidents.

What we are looking for:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with designing, deploying and managing IT infrastructure.
- Good understanding of fundamental computer architecture, networking, virtualization, storage, and operating system components.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure desirable.
- Good understanding of IT architecture and interlinkage with infrastructure needs.
- Experience in one or more areas:
- Unified Endpoint Management & Endpoint Protection Suite
- Image Creation and Deployment Tool (e.g., SCCM)
- Windows Client OS Image Standardization& Lifecycle Management
- Video Conferencing & Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
