We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our team of researchers applying discovery-directed approaches to elucidate fundamental aspects of eukaryotic cellular form, function, and evolution. Depending on the background and interests of the successful candidate, the work could also focus on the development of new methods to produce useful products from seaweed biomass. Responsibilities:
- Learn and employ methods in microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, microscopy and computational biology
- To maintain a detailed laboratory notebook
- Basic organization and lab administration
Requirements:
- BSc in the life sciences, or related fields
- A good understanding of eukaryotic genetics and cell biology
- Prior experience in lab research
- Experience with microscopy, molecular biology or microbiology
- A keen interest in learning and exploring new subjects
