Responsibilities :
- Strategic sourcing and procurement of F&B, Capex and NIP purchases
- Improve prices and terms of business with suppliers
- Negotiating new / renew contracts
- Arrange for product demo/food tasting
- Create new vendor and item in Purchasing System (SCM)
- Work closely with Chef and other departments to develop alternative sources
- Ensure departments adhere to minimum quotations as per SOP for all PRs before submission to a higher level for approval
- Generate POs and liaise with vendors for delivery
- Build rapport with vendors and maintain a strong network of vendors
- Generate weekly outstanding PRs and POs reports for end users and ensure they are timely completed
- Ensure Purchasing KPIs are met
- Initiate work process improvements
- Oversees renovation/project works
- Liaise with the contractor on the work schedule
- Ensure renovation work/projects are carried out according to the schedule
- Co-ordinate with other departments & oversees matters relating to renovation/project work
- Conduct patrol on renovation/project
- Assist in identifying/consolidating defects issues and follow up with contractors
Requirements :
- Hotel experience has a strong advantage
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
- Past involvement in renovation/projects will be an added advantage
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Good interpersonal skills
- Possess problem-solving abilities
