Responsibilities
- In-charge of international movement of items (import/ export) and provide daily support to all business units
- Review and approve export request by the Inspection Distribution Centers via ERP System to ensure meeting all export requirements
- Identify and evaluate improvement measures to improve quality and efficiency of trade compliance activities
- Utilize cost management programs (Foreign Trade Zones/ Free Trade Agreements)
- Work with custom brokers/ freight forwarders to ensure smooth import & export operations
- Prepare and review import & export documentations
- Support the review, development and implementation of compliance procedures
- Knowledge of import & export auditing practices
- Monitor regulatory and legislative changes to ensure policies and procedures are up-to-date
- Ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration or equivalent
- At least 5 - 8 years of experience in global trade compliance role
- Knowledge in US import/ export regulations
