Job Description

  • Responsible for the full spectrum of duties under assigned modules and cost centres.
  • These may include certain aspect of the financial modules such as Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), PO-AP related & Claims system, Cash mgt and Bank, Fixed Assets (FA), General Ledger (GL), GST, Financial Reporting, Schedules preparation and reconciliation to financial reports (Trial Balance, Profit and Loss, Balance Sheets).
  • Manage the Month-end, Year-end closing of the assigned modules and/or cost centres, accurately with the Finance team and Stakeholders (Internal and External).
  • Preparation of assigned monthly and yearly management reports, Audit and other schedules, Fixed Assets Schedule, and Bank Reconciliation when applicable.
  • Management of Quarterly GST reporting (partial / whole company level).
  • Assist with Fixed Assets, Inventories physical sighting/ count exercises, when assigned.
  • Maintenance of financial records in accordance with statutory requirements and ensure its approvals and completeness in our ERP/ Accounts.
  • Resolve Accounting related discrepancies with stakeholders (internal and external), Business Group counterparts to rectify issues that has financial implication / closing of accounts.
  • Assist with Audit requirements and clarifications.
  • Other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time by the HOD/ CFO.
  • Assigned tasks may varies and subject to re-deployment by the HOD subject to work exigencies and corporate development.
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by Head, Finance.

Requirements:

  • Possess at least Diploma or equivalent in Accountancy.
  • Prefered 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Linen, F&B industry
  • Experience in Vlookup, Pivot is preferred.
  • Have experience in managing full set of accounts, familiarity with Synergix ERP would be an added advantage.
