Key Qualifications:
Certification: Possession of a "Certificado de Profesor de Español como Lengua Extranjera" (ELE) or an equivalent certification for teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
- Language Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and a strong command of English for effective communication with learners.
- Experience: Preferably at least 2 years of experience in teaching Spanish, with a focus on teaching Spanish as a second language. Prior experience in one-on-one online tutoring is an advantage.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using online teaching platforms (like Zoom, Skype, Google Meet) and digital tools for language instruction.
- Customized Teaching Approach: Ability to develop personalized lesson plans that cater to the individual student's learning goals and proficiency level.
Responsibilities:
Lesson Planning: Design and implement individualized lesson plans focusing on the student's specific needs and learning objectives.
- Interactive Teaching: Conduct engaging online Spanish lessons using various teaching methodologies and digital resources.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess the student's progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching methods to enhance learning.
- Flexible Scheduling: Work with students to schedule lessons at convenient times.
- Resource Utilization: Employ a variety of teaching materials and resources appropriate for online tutoring.
- Communication: Keep in regular touch with students (or their parents, if applicable) to discuss progress, challenges, and additional learning opportunities.

Contract Details:
