Ticketing Host/Lead Ticketing Host

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate sales- and guest-oriented individual to perform daily ticketing operations and provide quality guest services to our Sentosa guests.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ticket Sales - in-charge of daily ticketing operations, Sentosa-owned/managed attractions and southern islands. Ensure adherence to cash control procedures and safeguard all revenue collection, float money and tickets.
  • Guest Services - provide information and quality guest services. Handle Faber License membership applications. Handle collection of advance tickets and documents. Ensure that Sentosa’s priorities of Safety, Courtesy, Show and Efficiency are followed at all guest contact points.
  • Housekeeping - ensure working environment and facilities are in working order and guest-oriented.
  • Assigned Zone areas - ensure efficient working environment, good housekeeping and facilities are in working order and guest-oriented. Ensure daily deployment of resources (employees and facilities) are sufficient to ensure quality guest services.
  • Plan and schedule monthly duty roster and constantly monitor and adjust accordingly to changes in requirements.
  • Prepare time and overtime reports for both monthly- and hourly-rated staff.
  • Ensure staff are updated on current promotions, events, happenings in Sentosa and adhere to performance standards
  • Handle feedback and problems promptly and make immediate decisions for service recovery
  • Report all incidents to immediate supervisor
  • Complete any other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level
  • Experience in ticketing / retail sales or tourism / hospitality-related industries will be of advantage
  • Good communication skills and sales-driven
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge in other language will be of advantage (to liaise with guests coming from all part of the world)
  • Customer- and guest-centric
  • Eye for detail to ensure a good guest experience
  • Confident in handling cash
  • Able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays

More experienced candidates will be commensurated accordingly.
