Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical engineering or related discipline, with 5 years of relevant experience in managing maintenance projects at process plants and / or other similar process environment.
- Extensive knowledge of process, mechanical, construction, design, finance and advanced project management techniques.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Powerpoint; Projects; Design softwares are a plus.
- Experience in managing projects to ensure that goals and objectives of the projects are accomplished within an established time frame and budget parameters
- Experienced cross-functional team leader.
- Scheduling and coordinating various activities is required.
- Central hub for communication for all technical and commercial opportunities and challenges related to project activities.
- Customer sales and services is also a part of the position and requires the ability to develop new business opportunities in refineries, terminals, and other large industrial accounts; service existing accounts, and act as a customer service representative to these accounts.
- Able to deal with change and ambiguity well for all technical and commercial opportunities and challenges related to project activities.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct and coordinate activities associate with a given project. This can include specification review, budget / proposal preparation and bid development to include time frame, procedures to accomplish the project, staffing requirements and allotted available resources for each phase of the project.
- Reviews and understands project scope and customer requirements; communicates requirements and manage the teams including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, subcontractors and other various parties responsible for the success of the project.
- To comply with clients' tendering procedures and conditions, structuring of contract packages and appointment, administration and payment of subcontractors and suppliers.
- To identify, report and update the contract changes and modifications to the relevant parties.
- To direct and manage the performances of responsibilities delegated to the subordinate staff employed in the project.
- To ensure the job safety and environmental protection are in compliance with the company Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
- To ensure the quality of works delivered is in accordance with the contract specifications and with the company QA / QC procedures.
- Professional relationship with clients, suppliers and Local Authorities.
- To ensure that all quotations, relevant information to the client are delivered in the current form and within the necessary time frame.
