My client is a global company specializing in the design and manufacture of heat exchangers and related technologies. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join the team as the Regional Sales Director APAC, Data Center. In this role, you will play a crucial part in leading and driving our cooling solution for Data Center in the Asia-Pacific region, contributing to the growth of our division. Job Description
Market Understanding: Demonstrate a full understanding of the Data Center value chain and market, with a focus on market segmentation according to industry and technology dimensions (hyperscalers, colocators, end users, crypto, immersion cooling).
Solution Development: Lead the development of solutions by combining KTS technologies and collaborating with external partners. Utilize a "system builder approach" to match market demand.
Technical Support: Provide technical support to regional sales teams, ensuring a deep understanding of thermal management solutions.
Strategic Vision: Develop a strategic and innovative vision on current and emerging trends in Data Center applications to shape the organization's future in terms of technical relevance and commercial competitiveness.
Market Growth Strategy: Develop and implement a market growth strategy, identifying key customers, understanding their business models, and promoting KTS technologies, Unique Selling Points (USP), and differentiators.
Business Development: Align and collaborate with Sales Regions on new market development, growth strategies, and new customer development activities.
Project Management: Identify solid projects, negotiate and close deals, and track/report business status and KPIs against objectives.
Industry Engagement: Gain access to local, regional, and global DC Organizations and Forums, gaining insights on market trends and industry standards, influencing and participating in their definition in the interest of Kelvion.
Presentation Skills: Ability to present the business and strategy both internally and externally.
The Successful Applicant
- At least 5 years in Sales and business development selling to the Data Center Industry
- Exhibiting a mobilizer personality with a robust blend of Sales, Commercial, and Technical expertise.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of essential Sales fundamentals and processes within the assigned domain.
- Effective communicator skilled in establishing and nurturing both internal and external networks.
- Capable of self-motivation, adaptability to new solutions, and leveraging internal resources to their full potential.
