- Grow Partnerships Globally: Build and bring with you strong 1:1 relationships with key business, opinion leaders, and other influencers to WIN deals with the company.
Manage external partnership deals from start to finish, including the ongoing account management aspects to ensure the relationships are successful.
- Lead Kava’s Business Development Team: You are responsible for ensuring that the company’s vision and differentiated offering are brought to life by the business development team consistently and with high quality.
Build, lead, and mentor the business development team from the ground up and forecast hiring needs. Be the driving force in the development of the work ethic, culture, and values of the business development team.
Establish, prepare, and manage quarterly business goals, performance metrics and tracking processes for business development activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, engineering, and finance) to develop leads, presentations, and structure multimillion-dollar business deals that drive overarching company goals - such as revenue, asset price, and product adoption.
Manage metrics and evaluate the effectiveness of biz dev, account management, and sales efforts to support overall business growth objectives.
Who You Are.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic high-performing business development roles, with a track record as a strong individual contributor as well as a team leader.
- Demonstrated repeated success initiating and closing multi-million dollar deals.
- A proven track record demonstrating adept negotiation skills.
- Strong experience taking technical products to market.
- A proven track record forming new partnerships with enterprise-level customers.
- Possess a startup mindset:Self-starting, ambitious attitude.
