Our Business development team works alongside our partners and lawyers across our sectors, services and offices to support and develop our relationships with clients, delivering an exceptional service and exploring new avenues through which we can help them meet their business needs. Our brand, marketing and digital team help position us as thought leaders amongst our target markets in the areas we most want to be known for, by creating intuitive and engaging collateral, events and campaigns.
The opportunity
As part of the business development and marketing team, you will play a hands-on role in contributing to the firm’s success and helping to achieve its objectives. This could be as one of our business development and marketing professionals, coaching partners on relationship building, or building our brand as one of our marketing, design or events professionals.

The role will involve:
Events
· Actively manage a calendar of events across South East Asia offices
· Maintain an up-to-date calendar of client events in Singapore
· Plan, coordinate and produce virtual events and physical events in the offices within time limits.
· Execute the technical aspects for remote broadcasting.
· Manage on-demand posting of virtual programs.
· Assist with event logistics including facility, rentals, food, materials, audio-visual, email communications, onsite facilitation and post-event reporting.
· Create and edit event lists, invitations, materials and signage
· Track and report expenditures against budget
· Conduct pre and post event evaluations and report on outcomes
· Conduct research of vendors and venues and propose options for events.
· Draft, format and send email communications to promote firm events using Vuture - the firm's email platform
· Develop, update and maintain event email distribution lists using firm’s Interaction system.
· Prepare program materials including presentations, handouts and name tags, as well as promotional items/giveaways as requested.
· Provide onsite support at firm events, including setup and teardown, registration, speaker assistance, venue and vendor coordination.
· Prepare RSVP, attendance and survey summary reports.
· Post events to internal and external websites.
· Maintain event department documents including event calendars and forms.
· Provide additional event support as needed.
Marketing & Communications:
· Assist in coordination of HSF’s participation in, and sponsorship of, local and national conferences
· Responsibilities would include handling lawyer reservations or RSVPs, and
· Coordinating and submitting advertisements, giveaways, logos, and other materials as needed for sponsorships and other external activities.
· Coordinate the distribution of legal publications and guides in South East Asia
To be successful in this role, you should have the below skills, experience & qualification:
· A minimum of 2-3 years event management experience
· Excellent project co-ordination/administration skills
· Advanced MS Office skills - in particular Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
· Experience in composing own correspondence, internal and external documents and working with large schedules and documents
· Exposure to marketing within a corporate or professional services environment is desirable.
· Database experience - InterAction experience desirable. Experience with virtual event production and platform/tools required. Experience with email marketing software preferred.
· Experience with website content management systems and HTML a plus.
· Experience with CRM software (e.g. InterAction) a plus.
· Excellent oral and written communications skills.
· Strong organizational abilities. Excellent project management skills; must be capable of working well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
