Job Responsibility
- Inspect and identify all possible forms of hazards in a work environment.
- Inspect work areas regularly to ensure compliance with workplace safety and health requirements.
- Check equipment to ensure it is in working condition and do not pose any environment health hazard to user or the workplace.
- Provide solutions to address any unsafe practices or act at workplace.
- Conduct risk assessments on work site.
- Prepare reports on workplace safety assessments.
- Take charge of all matters related to environmental health such as:
1. Disease-bearing insects and rodents
2. Proper disposal of construction waste
3. Noise, air and dust pollution
4. Earth littering
5. Siltation of drains
6. Food hygiene in workers canteens if any
7. Any other environmental health matters
- Report these conditions/ situations with recommendations on remedial measures to be taken to prevent recurrence.
Requirement
- Diploma in any field.
- Registered Environmental Control Officer with NEA.
- At least 2 years of working experience.
- Preferably personnel specialized in Building Construction - Environmental/ Health/ Safety or equivalent.
- Candidate who possess high experience will be considered for senior role.
