The Opportunity:
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and creative Marketing Manager to lead the marketing in launching a new event brand within the healthcare team in Asia. The successful candidate will lead in strategizing, planning, organizing and executing innovative marketing campaigns across Asia Pacific to secure sponsors, exhibitors, start-ups and attendees to the event.
A brand new event launch
Currently the healthcare team runs a flagship brand, Hospital Management Asia (HMA). HMA helps hospital owners, C-level executives, directors, clinicians and healthcare leaders improve outcomes and becoming increasingly efficient through the delivery of online content, digital activations, bespoke webinars and an annual flagship event that attracts over 1,500 attendees. With a track record of more than 22 years, HMA has grown into a 28,000 strong community across Asia Pacific.
In 2025, a new brand will be launched to connect innovators and technology firms with Asia’s healthcare providers.
The healthcare division is one of the portfolios within Clarion Events Asia - a multinational events company, that is owned by private equity organization, Blackstone. The Candidate:
Reporting to both the Marketing Director and the Project Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, implementation and execution of the new event brand scheduled for launch in 2025. The ideal candidate will have brilliant attention to detail, be highly creative, adaptable and an excellent team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks to a high standard. Previous experience of a B2B events role is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and executing cross-channel marketing campaigns that will deliver sponsors, exhibitors, start-ups and attendees to a launch health event
- Managing and segmenting data, identifying gaps, developing new data sources, and implementing data build and refresh plans
- Using marketing technology to craft exceptional customer journeys and qualify leads
- Developing innovative, revenue-generating ideas for campaigns to drive attendance
- Using digital channels and technologies to enhance online presence of the business
- Setting up, maintaining and updating event websites
- Managing the design, production, and distribution of all promotional materials
- Writing and proofing copy for a range of marketing platforms and materials including websites, social media, emails, and brochures
- Continuously analysing marketing metrics to improve campaign performance including ROI on channels used
- Building and managing relationships with related associations, media and start-up partners
- Building and managing relationships with external suppliers and negotiating prices
- Promoting a culture of testing and change to continuously drive improvement
Knowledge and Experience:
- Degree holder
- Preferably have worked in Healthcare sector
- Regional marketing experience would be a bonus. Previous client facing or marketing agency experience an added advantage
- A proven track record of implementing successful campaigns for B2B exhibitions and conferences
- Proven use and understanding of complex databases and segmentation techniques
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Highly literate in digital marketing practices and channels such as Google Analytics, SEO, PPC, Feathr campaigns and paid and organic social media campaigns
- Experience using a CRM system such as Salesforce and Pardot
- Experience using a website CMS
- Experience on data visualization tools such as Power BI
