Role Summary
- Provide on time response to customers ‘requests in quotation, service, support, and meeting delivery date.
- Manage global account management with counterparts in better serving our global key account customers.
- Manage and grow assigned customers in term of sales figure, gross contribution, pricelist, VMI, terms & conditions, payment term and any sales contract/agreement set with the company's direction.
Responsibilities
- Generates proposals & quotation.
- Generates and provide selling price to ISEs.
- Perform solo customers' visits for local & overseas.
- Generates customer visits both local & overseas itinerary.
- Provides sales & technical support to respective customers.
- ad hoc duties as assigned by Business Development Manager.
- Generates timely month order intake for monthly forecast reporting.
- Provides marketing support for promoting company's products and brands.
- Generates timely New Business Opportunity (NBO) update for monthly report .
- Perform in accordance with KPIs, goals and sales budget set by the Superior.
- Generates annual pricelists and contractual agreement with respective customers.
- Conduct sales presentation to new or existing customers in promoting company profile.
- Generates request for costing form upon new part number development with costing team.
- Provide timely monthly business review update on sales performance for respective customers.
- Analyses issues, provide problem solving and improve processes on a day-to-day basis as required.
- Liaises & correspond with local & overseas suppliers and manufacturers in supporting customers' requests.
- Suggests improvements to increase efficiency and improves communication of departmental and functional information.
- Assist Account Manager / Business Development Manager in organising exhibitions in Asia Pacific & Middle East region.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in any discipline with minimum 3 years' experience of relevant role in Engineering.
- Prior Experience relating to the Oil & Gas industry or experience handling polymer products.
- Able to use M3 Lawson in checking sales history for price comparison.
- Good understanding of revision standards, transmittal requirements, engineering technical routing, and non-conformance controls.
- Ability to comprehend Engineering Drawings, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing is an advantage.
