Our Client is a global consumer durable brand headquartered in Singapore. Their products are now available in over 30 countries with the United States, Philippines and Taiwan as top selling markets.
There is an interesting role open in the Singapore office for a Managing Director.
As a team, they cultivate an open, collaborative working environment. Having fun is a must, and crazy ideas are expected, driving to question the status quo.
The team is not large as they outsource some activities and also work with shared service providers. Hence the job holder must be someone able to work in a startup sort of mode, always exploring new ways of doing things.
Candidates from consumer durable products like furnishings, home/office accessories etc are encourged to apply.

Managing Director
Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Vision: - Develop and communicate a compelling vision for the company's growth in the baby industry. - Lead and inspire a high-performing team towards achieving strategic goals.
2. Sales and Marketing: - Drive sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share. - Develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners. - Implement data-driven approaches to optimize sales performance.
3. Supply Chain Management: - Oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations. - Collaborate with suppliers and distributors to ensure efficient product availability. - Implement inventory management strategies to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
4. Team Development: - Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team. - Provide ongoing sales and marketing training to enhance team skills.
5. Financial Management: - Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial sustainability. - Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
6. Innovation and Product Development: - Drive innovation in product development to meet market demands. - Stay abreast of industry trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
7. Customer Focus: - Foster a customer-centric culture throughout the organization. - Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve products and services.
8. Compliance and Risk Management: - Ensure the company operates in compliance with relevant regulations. - Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business.
Qualifications: - Proven experience in a senior leadership role in a startup environment. - Strong background in sales and marketing with a track record of successful strategies. - Solid understanding of supply chain management principles. - Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. - Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and change. - Financial acumen and experience in budget management.
Education: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
