We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT professional to join our team in the role of Developer and Database Administrator (DBA). This role requires a versatile individual who can provide general IT support across various technologies, including but not limited to, PC and email troubleshooting, as well as programming in JBoss, C#, and Java. He should have experience in database administration, and have worked with systems such as Finacle, iBanking and Load Origination System.
Responsibilities:
- Software Development: Write, test, and maintain software programs and applications using JBoss, C#, and Java programming. Debug and resolve technical issues and ensure the software is up-to-date and running smoothly.
- Database Administration: Maintain and optimize the company’s database systems. Ensure data integrity, security, and optimized performance of databases. Develop and implement database standards and infrastructure.
- IT Support: Provide technical assistance for various IT-related issues, including PC troubleshooting and email support. Respond to IT requests from all departments and perform preventative maintenance and updates.
- Load Origination System Management: Oversee the load origination system to ensure efficient and secure data loading processes. Troubleshoot any issues that arise and implement solutions.
- Finacle Management: Handle the administration and optimization of the Finacle banking software. Ensure its smooth operation within the organization and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- End-of-Day Operations: Manage and oversee end-of-day operations to ensure all IT systems are properly shut down and secured. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during these operations.
- Linux Administration: Manage and maintain the company’s Linux servers. Troubleshoot any issues that arise and ensure the servers are running efficiently.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DBA and in a developer role with expertise in SQL.
- Proficiency in JBoss, C#, and Java programming.
- Experience with Finacle, iBanking and Load Origination System would be advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
