a. Report to the WSHO. Responsible for the Environment Heath systems and implementations.
b. The detailed duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Assist and advise the Project Team on environmental health issues for overall project scope and detailed activities.
Study and fully understand the requirements of company ISO, EHS and sub-contracts agreements.
Prepare and submit site environmental control programme and report.
Liaise, handle, and keep proper records in dealing with all related authorities in complying with their respective requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections/audits to ensure compliance with environmental health requirements.
Identify and discuss environmental heath irregularities such as mosquito and fly breeding, rodent infestation, noise/dust/smoke/water pollution, poor housekeeping, earth littering, poor refuse management, poor maintenance of sanitary facilities, etc with Project Manager and recommend measures to rectify such irregularities.
Attend to all feedback on such irregularities and inform the superior accordingly.
Handle authorities or owners like NEA, PUB, HDB to investigate outbreaks of infectious, vector-borne, or food-borne disease on the construction site.
Work as a team with project team members and sub-contractors to maintain good environmental health standards in the construction site.
Prevention of fines, imposition of demerit points and SWO from the authorities or owners like MOM, NEA, PUB and HDB is a key role which is also a key performance measurement of ECO.
Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the superior which is necessary for the execution of the project.
