Job Description

  • Position: Accounts Assistant, Accounts Receivable
  • Well Established Japanese Manufacturing MNC
  • Working hours: Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm)
  • Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3,000 + AWS + Performance Bonus
  • Outpatient and Dental Insurance Provided
  • Working Location: Jurong West
  • Island Wide Company Transport Provided
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Industry: Manufacturing

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for invoicing related work. Ensure prompt to perform billing activities in the billing system to meet all billing timeline in an accurate manner.
  • Ensure all billing activities are well coordinated to meet customers’ requirements.
  • Generate and send out invoices to customers on time.
  • Preparation of sales report.
  • Responsible for handling month-end closing report.
  • Responsible for handling collection debts.
  • Assist in the preparation of spreadsheets, reports and correspondence as required.
  • Carry out reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
  • Liaise with accounts on finance matters.
  • Liaise with external vendor for billing related issues.
  • Assist with year-end audit preparation and procedures.
  • Other ad hoc assignments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Accountancy.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in billing related functions, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Able to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage billing independently.
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous and good at problem-solving.
  • Good at using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and accounting system.
  • Ensure finance tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Able to cope with stress during busy financial period.
  • Effective Communication skills, positive, polite, and proactive.
